There is entertainment to be enjoyed at many of the local hangouts that you can find most any day of the week, during both evenings and afternoons. Most of these entertainers are local, though there are some that travel from afar just to perform and be a part of the excitement at the Lake of the Ozarks! There are also local Opry shows that offer a variety of entertainment year-round, including upcoming Christmas Shows!

Grab a friend and head out for a day of shopping! There are general merchandise and off-price stores to frequent, as well as gift shops and custom boutiques. Don’t miss the flea markets, antique shops, and thrift stores offering collectibles, treasures, and unique, hard-to-find items.

WINERIES & BREWHOUSE

There are over seven local wineries to visit within a 60-mile radius of the Lake of the Ozarks offering views of rolling hills and trees and of course, their individual wine selections. Several of these establishments also have entertainment on the weekends!

There is also a brewhouse to visit and enjoy the many varieties of their brews including seasonal flavors, as well!

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

For the outdoor enthusiast, there are many activities to be found!

PARKS:

There are several parks throughout the area that offer picnic areas, playgrounds, walking trails, and more! A few of these have ramps to launch your boat for the day

CAVES:

Numerous caves are found throughout the area that have guided tours to explore the amazing beauty within – well worth the visit and history lesson!

HIKING:

For those of you who are more adventurous - there are many beautiful and challenging trails to be hiked. The variety of trails cater to both beginners and the more experienced hikers.

FISHING:

Fishing is plentiful here at the Lake of the Ozarks! The area boasts many places to fish from shore, from a boat, or even from your dock. You can easily find fishing guides to take you out for the day and show you the best spots for your preferred fishing preference!
