Soaking In Luxury

There is one high-class space that you will always find in a luxury home at the Lake of the Ozarks - the luxury spa. A million dollar home isn’t complete without a decadent bathroom to relax in. These bathrooms are characterized by grand stonework, custom cabinets, and luxurious details (think towel warmers!). There is one thing, though, that you will always find in these spaces, and it’s a grand bathtub. World Bathtub Day comes up on October 7th, and there’s no better way to acknowledge it than by featuring the different types of bathtubs that you will find in million dollar homes at the Lake of the Ozarks.

A Freestanding Tub

Freestanding tubs are an excellent option for any bathroom. They are easy to install if you want to replace the tub in your current home, and they make a beautiful statement. The faucet and drain are detached, so this provides the freedom to place this tub anywhere in your space.

Undermount

This type of bathtub creates a beautiful line, as the bathtub is installed beneath the deck material. The aesthetic style, though, can be quite breathtaking. A beautiful accent for your luxury bathroom.

A Corner Bathtub

This tub requires a specific layout, but they are beautiful statement pieces. They are large and triangular and fit in the corner of your bathroom. There is generally enough space for two people.

A Drop-In Tub

Drop in bathtubs are easy to install and are customizable because the tub fits inside a framed enclosure. This provides you with many different design options for the area surrounding the outside of the tub. You can use many different materials, and it doesn’t have to be the same as the bathtub.

An Alcove Tub

You will find this style in many homes, and commonly in the guest bathrooms. This type of tub is recessed, and also has a shower and mounted faucets. They will be connected to three walls, and are convenient for smaller rooms to help maximize the space.

A Clawfoot Tub

These tubs resemble the lap of luxury. They are very similar to a freestanding tub, except that they are raised from the floor with a pipe drain below it. This type of tub will add character to any bathroom, and they are characterized by those signature clawfoot legs.

A Luxurious Getaway

The entire purpose of a luxury bathroom is to create a space where you can get away and relax. Fill up the tub, add a luxurious bath bomb, and soak away the cares of life. Luxury bathrooms contain the perfect prescription for a busy week or a fun day out on the Lake. If you’re planning on buying a luxury home at the Lake of the Ozarks - what do you want to find in the master bathroom? Let’s take a look and find the perfect fit for your lifestyle.
